Tom Roberts, a resident of Laguna Niguel, has been honored by Blue Cross of California as the company's most successful agent. Roberts was recognized at the Blue Cross Agent Appreciation Conference in Banff, Alberta, Canada, which honored the top 100 producers.
"Thanks to the tremendous efforts of our agents and brokers, Blue Cross enrolled more than 200,000 individuals in 1994 who were previously without insurance," said David L. Ludwig, senior vice president, Blue Cross of California. "The role played by agents and brokers in our health-care system helps increase the number of insured individuals that ultimately affects the cost of uncompensated care.
